Front Office Agent (Moshi)
Kibo Palace Hotels & Resorts are seeking a passionate Front Office Agent to join the team in Moshi. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this role is central to daily hotel operations, delivering efficient check-ins and check-outs, supporting guest bookings, handling payments accurately, and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout each guest stay
- Respond promptly, efficiently, and courteously to guest requests
- Answer reservation enquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Maintain professionalism and follow procedures related to guest confidentiality and company policies
- Take responsibility for operational tasks such as securing payments and issuing room keys
- Maintain procedures relating to credit and cash transactions and post relevant charges to guest accounts
- Support guest bookings and reservations with accuracy and attention to detail
- Build memorable connections with guests and hotel teams
Chief Accountant (Arusha)
Support the Financial Controller in ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and reporting across hotel operations. This role is responsible for accurate financial records, statutory compliance, sound internal controls, and strong financial discipline across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and prepare timely financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Monitor hotel funds, expenditures, cash flow, daily revenue postings, and bank reconciliations for TZS and USD accounts.
- Maintain proper records of assets, liabilities, debtors, creditors, and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, SDL, tax returns, and other government obligations.
- Review purchasing and payment transactions, Night Audit Reports, and food and beverage purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance.
- Support day-to-day Finance Department operations, bookkeeping, filing, receivables collection, payment processing, cashiering, and bar stock controls.
- Plan, supervise, train, and direct accounting staff while promoting teamwork, professionalism, and high performance.
- Work effectively under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and carry out other finance-related duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Accounting or finance operations experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Sun Systems or similar accounting software is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
