Sales & Marketing Manager
Kibo Palace Hotels & Resorts are seeking a passionate Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Directors who are part of our Executive team, this position works very closely with our Front Office Department and Reservations office to achieve optimum revenue results for all segments of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to develop a corporate sales plan
- Prospect new clients
- Manage existing client accounts
- Conduct outside sales calls
- Speaking on behalf of the company at interviews and press conferences
- Arrange on-site visits and sales tours

Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, this role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing the hotel’s electrical systems and industrial-grade infrastructure to ensure operational reliability, safety, and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, circuits, lighting, and industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of generators, transformers, and HVAC electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for industrial electrical equipment
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment
- Recommend and implement upgrades to improve system efficiency and reliability

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this role is responsible for directing and optimizing the reservations function, driving enquiry conversion, supporting revenue performance, and maintaining a high standard of guest communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end reservations process across phone, email, OTA, corporate, and direct bookings
- Ensure all reservations are accurately created, modified, and cancelled within the PMS
- Monitor booking pace, pickup, and availability to support occupancy and revenue targets
- Handle complex reservations including long stays, group enquiries, and corporate accounts
- Work closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure rates, restrictions, and availability are correctly loaded and applied
- Support pricing across short, medium, and extended stays
- Ensure guest communication is professional, timely, and aligned with brand standards
- Manage pre-arrival communication, special requests, and reservations-related issues efficiently and empathetically
- Lead, train, and develop reservations team members while setting KPIs and coaching on upselling and conversion
- Support corporate, government, and long-stay enquiries and assist with rate loading and contracting processes
- Collaborate with sales, revenue, and hotel operations teams to maximize commercial opportunities
- Provide regular reports on reservations performance, conversion, and pickup to senior leadership
Chef de Partie - Pastry (Arusha)
Kibo Palace Hotels & Resorts are seeking a passionate and focused Chef de Partie - Pastry to join the culinary team in Arusha. Working closely with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and management team, this role is responsible for preparing high-quality pastry products and maintaining excellent production standards for guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Check the cleanliness of equipment and premises before production runs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check the quality of raw materials and accurately weigh ingredients
- Knead, mature, cut, mold, mix, and shape dough and pastry goods
- Prepare pastry fillings
- Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
- Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of pastry and bread batches
- Glaze buns and pastries and decorate cakes with cream and icing
- Operate machines used to roll and mold dough and cut biscuits
- Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment
